Itinerary

Where This Fits in a Uganda Itinerary

Queen Elizabeth National Park in western Uganda combines open savannah, the Kazinga Channel, crater lakes and the Ishasha sector, which is known for tree-climbing lions. It is a popular stop between Kibale and Bwindi, so activities here are often added to a game drive and launch cruise.

It is short and early, so it fits before breakfast and leaves the rest of the day for a game drive or a Kazinga Channel cruise. Whatever you choose, build days around travel time: driving distances between the parks are long, and early starts are normal on a Uganda safari. If you are comparing destinations, start with Uganda's national parks and our Uganda safaris and tours.
