Itinerary

Where This Fits in a Uganda Itinerary

Murchison Falls National Park in north-western Uganda is where the Nile squeezes through a narrow gorge. Game drives, launch cruises and Nile activities make it a full wildlife destination.

It lies off the main safari circuit, so treat it as an extension beyond Murchison Falls, and compare it with the easier Ziwa option. Whatever you choose, build days around travel time: driving distances between the parks are long, and early starts are normal on a Uganda safari. If you are comparing destinations, start with Uganda's national parks and our Uganda safaris and tours.
