What Makes Buhoma Different
Buhoma is where gorilla tourism in Uganda began; the Mubare group was among the first opened to visitors in the 1990s. The park headquarters, a community rest camp and the Bwindi Community Hospital are nearby, and the Munyanga waterfall walk and village tours make it easy to fill a rest day.
