Wet Season Conditions

Lake Mburo is the closest savannah park to Kampala and is quiet in the rainy months of March to May and September to November. Grass is tall and the park is green, so animals may be harder to spot, but newborn zebras and impalas appear and birdlife is at its best.

Activities

Boat trips, walking safaris and horse riding continue in the wet season, with dry gear. See dry season, boat trips and Kampala to Lake Mburo.
