Itinerary
Transfer from Nairobi to Masai Mara
We will pick you up from the hotel at 08:00 and transfer you to the office. We will proceed to the Masai Mara National Reserve via the viewpoint of the Great Rift Valley, with a stopover at Narok town for lunch. On arrival in the park, proceed on an afternoon game drive, tracking various animal and bird species with your driver-guide. You will have dinner and overnight at the campsite.
Full Day Masai Mara
After breakfast, you will proceed on a full day of game viewing within the reserve. The landscape here is scenic savannah grassland on rolling hills. The reserve is the best park for spotting game in Kenya, as it has an extensive road and track network which allows for close-range viewing and photography. Break for your picnic lunch at the Hippo Pool, looking out for hippos and crocodiles. You will return to the campsite for dinner and an overnight stay.
Maasai village tour - Lake Nakuru
You will head out on an early-morning game drive, then return to the camp for breakfast. You have the opportunity to go on a Maasai village tour from 07:30 to 08:30. We then depart for Lake Nakuru National Park with an en-route lunch. We will proceed to Lake Nakuru and arrive at your hotel later in the evening.
Game Drive in Lake Nakuru - Transfer to Lake Naivasha
After breakfast, you will head out for a game drive in Lake Nakuru National Park. The famous Lake Nakuru attracts vast numbers of fabulously-colored pink flamingos to its shallow waters. Various animals such as hippo, black rhino, giraffe, lion, leopard, and a profusion of birds are also present at the lake. We will exit the park at 11:00 and drive to Lake Naivasha, arriving at lunchtime. Lunch is followed by a boat ride, and we then return to the hotel for an overnight stay.
Naivasha - Amboseli
After breakfast, we proceed to Hell's Gate for a cycling tour. Hell's Gate is a friendly park with no carnivorous animals. We will exit the park at 11:00 and drive to Amboseli with an en-route lunch. We arrive at Nyati Amboseli Tented Camp later in the evening for dinner and overnight.
Discover Amboseli
A full-day game drive from early in the morning allows you to become better acquainted with Amboseli and its wildlife. Wherever you travel within the park, you will remain under the watchful gaze of the imposing Mount Kilimanjaro. The vast herds of elephants for which Amboseli is known, seem dwarfed by comparison. Enjoy your lunch break in the park, after which you will resume the game drive until late in the afternoon. You will return to the camp around 17:00 for dinner and overnight.
Return to Nairobi - End of Tour
You will go on an early-morning game drive, then return to the camp for breakfast. You will then proceed to Nairobi and arrive at 14:00. This is where your safari ends.
