There are several game parks and reserved areas with a great diversity of wildlife species, when you decide to come to Uganda to see the beauty she has to offer, you will release the fulfilling wildlife safari experience that can only be got in Uganda by visiting a lot of these animals in their natural habitats.

As compared to other countries, wildlife in Uganda is not losing its wildness, incredibly the one most important thing that everyone looks for in a wildlife safari experience. Here the animals are left to wonder freely in their natural habitats. Tracking them and seeing how they relate with one another and their natural habitats is the majority gratifying wildlife safari experience one would ask for.

Uganda is blessed with 10 natural habitants for the animals namely, Game Reserves, National Parks, Game Parks each with rich and unique eco systems  to accommodate the animals as they live in their natural Habitat. Some of these magnificent game parks are:

Uganda is believed to have the uppermost primate inhabitants’ concentration in the world; the most well-known of these are the mountain gorillas, chimpanzees, different monkey species and baboons. These unique creatures you will come across in big numbers in National Parks like Bwindi, Mgahinga, Kibale National Park, among others. And when it comes down to the bird species, Uganda is believed to host almost half of the bird species found in Africa.

Some of the wildlife you will encounter includes the famous “big five” that is the lion, buffalo, leopard, rhino and elephant which are found in most of the key parks. Others consist of zebras, giraffes, Jackson’s Hartebeests, waterbucks, hyenas, warthogs, antelopes, tree climbing lions found only in Queen Elizabeth National Park, among others.
